Blimes and Gab

A rap duo comprised of Seattle MC Gifted Gab and San Francisco's Blimes Brixton, Blimes and Gab joined forces over their love of classic hip-hop, specifically inspired by its back-and-forth performance style. The pair met online in 2016 after they were introduced by a mutual friend; they hit it off instantly and met up the following year, cementing a firm friendship. The duo's debut single, "Nasty," appeared in 2018, followed by a stream of further singles that culminated in a full-length album, 2020's Talk About It. ~ Liam Martin
