In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At first, I wanted to learn drums to play at church. Instead, my mother instead put me in piano lessons at ten years old. Mom was told if I learned piano first, I could play anything. Looking back, now as a multi-instrumentalist, that was very true. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Secret & Whisper, Great White Whale Skillet, Comatose Spiritbox, Eternal Blue These albums were incredibly influential to me. There are way more than just three that have influenced me, but these are the first three that come to mind. The musicianship, songwriting, and production on these albums stuck with me. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Halos” This song is the first single I released. The music and lyrics are simple and to the point. It’s heavy, it grooves, and I experimented with different things in the studio to add atmosphere and tension to the track. The breakdown is nasty as well. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? While I wouldn’t call music my career, my most memorable moment is probably the first concert I played with my first band. Loads of fun memories! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is so much I’d like to do, but my main goal right now is to finish and release my album.
