About Blacklight Beat Patrol

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Early on, I listened to jazz, blues, and cowboy songs with my grandfather. His love for these sounds and old Hollywood musicals deeply shaped my musical understanding. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, The Low End Theory Filter, Title Of Record Zero 7, Simple Things Zero 7's 'Simple Things' is deeply textured and moody. Filter's 'Title of Record' is well-written, perfect for a drive. A Tribe Called Quest's 'The Low End Theory' turns any place into a party—a must-have for hip-hop fans. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My track "XOXO Daft on Chemicals" (TrailREmix) drew comparisons to Astralwerks' early 2000s lineup, known for its intriguing roster. I found it an honor to be likened to that collective of artists. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To continue blending musical influences and genres, and with any luck, inspire other musicians. Then, there's the ultimate 'winning-the-lottery' bucket list item: collaborating with artists like Daft Punk, Richard Patrick, Trent Reznor, and Q-Tip.
