About Black Rose

Black Rose was a pop/rock group formed by Cher and her then-boyfriend, guitarist Les Dudek, in 1979. Filling out the band were Warren Ham (vocals, guitar), Ron Ritchotte (guitar), Michael Finnigan (keyboards), Trey Thompson (bass), and Gary Ferguson (drums). They made one self-titled album, after which Cher and Dudek's romance, and the band, came to an end. ~ William Ruhlmann
