In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was probably about 5, we used to take these road trips in Nigeria & my uncles would play afrobeat, highlife & country music throughout, at some point, if I heard any of those sounds I would assume I was going on a road trip lol. I love them ❤️ What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kanye West, Late Registration Michael Jackson, Thriller Nipsey Hussle, Victory Lap These albums kind of represent stages in my life, from what I heard my parents, uncles & aunties listen to when I was born, to my teenage and then my early adult years, you know. They all have priceless memories attached to them. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Breakfast Anthem (feat. Simi)” This was the most stress-free collaborations I have ever done. Simi and I definitely make amazing music, I hope we get to work again. I remember producing this record and going yes! this is it! I love this record so much. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? This happened quite recently. Being on stage in Dallas TX, and the audience singing my song word for word in unison was everything to me. I will never forget that feeling. Keeps me going Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Festivals! I would love to do more festivals. Traveling around the world performing at festivals would be amazing. I would also love to be an Apple Music UpNext artist! That's definitely on my list.
