About Billy Price and the Keystone Rhythm Band

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. A year after BP & the KRB recorded our second album, They Found Me Guilty, we played two shows with one of our favorite artists, Otis Clay--the KRB backed Otis and Billy together and separately. Otis and Billy collaborated until Otis passed in 2016. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bobby "Blue" Bland, Unmatched: The Very Best of Bobby Bland O.V. Wright, The Soul of O.V. Wright The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Fabulous Thunderbirds 'Girls Go Wild' The Fabulous Thunderbirds were a big influence on BP and the KRB. Over the years, we covered a lot of songs by Bobby Bland and O.V. Wright, along with other great soul artists including Otis Clay, Tyrone Davis, Al Green, and Syl Johnson. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Eldorado Cafe” This was always the most popular song by Billy Price and the Keystone Rhythm Band, and the song that fans requested most. They still request it to this day at shows by the Billy Price Band. It may not be our favorite, but we aim to please fans.
