In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I got the chance to play the euphonium in our school band back in my hometown Rendalen. When I experienced how the instrument sounded and blended in the band - that was a turning point for me - and I knew I was never going back... Tell us why you chose this song. “Notturno (Lockdown Lullaby)” One of the best lyrical pieces ever written for euphonium. This song capture the essence of the instrument and shows the true artistry in the musician performing it. Thank you Marcus Paus, for bringing this to our repertoire! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I won the famous Forsberg & Aulies legat. A price given to only the most talented musicians in Norway. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to perform in all of the seven continents in the world! I would love to perform Stig Nordhagen`s Euphonium Concerto with a great band.
