As a kid, I was good friends with one of the pioneers of house music, Chip E, and one of my earliest musical memories was sneaking into the recording studio after Chip E and Frankie Knuckles had left to hear what they had been working on. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Brown Sugar Sade, The Best of Sade (Remaster) The J.B.'s, Funky Good Time: The Anthology These are 3 sounds that either substantially changed or created and molded the entire genre of Neo-Soul and Hip-Hop. Saniyah X)” I think most artists will say (and I agree), the most special song is the current song we're working on. With the exception of this song (save Some Time) which I wrote, produced, and recorded in about 2-3 hours.
