About Benny Benassi

Grammy-winning Italian producer Benny Benassi pioneered the sound of electro house with club classics like 2003's "Satisfaction." • Benassi dove into electronic music in the late ’80s with his cousin Allesandro under the name Benassi Bros. • In 2001, under the alias KMC, Benny released the single “I Feel So Fine,” featuring Italian singer Dhany. The track reached No. 1 on the UK club charts. • His tantalizing 2002 single “Satisfaction” was a key track in the development of electro house. It spawned remixes by RL Grime, Afrojack, and Hardwell, among others. The song’s lascivious music video—featuring models demonstrating how to use power tools—has amassed more than 82 million views. • Credited to Benny Benassi & the Biz, his 2003 debut album, Hypnotica, won a European Border Breakers Award. • In 2008, Benassi’s pulsing remix of Public Enemy’s “Bring The Noise” won him a Grammy for Best Dance Remix. • Skrillex’s rambunctious remix of Benassi’s 2011 track “Cinema” helped to popularize dubstep in North America . • “Beautiful People,” Benassi’s collaboration with Chris Brown, reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs and narrowly missed the Top 40 of the Hot 100. • Benassi’s 2016 album Danceaholic features guests like Chris Brown, John Legend, and Serj Tankian of the metal band System of a Down.
