Having conducted widely in France and beyond, Benjamin Levy became the music director of the Orchestre de Cannes in 2016. He has also conducted opera and is the founder of his own ensemble, the Orchestre de Chambre Pelléas. Levy made his recording debut with that group in 2014, backing violinist Lorenzo Gatto on a recording of Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 61. Levy has appeared with a large variety of orchestras around Europe as well as many major French ensembles. Levy led the Orchestre de Cannes on the recording Croisette: Opérettes des Années Folles in 2022.
