Bengt Hennings is a Swedish dansband that hit the Top Ten of the Swedish albums chart after appearing on the television reality show Dansbandskampen in 2008. Founded in 1967 in Länghem, Västergötland, Sweden, the band is comprised of Kjell Malmborg (vocals, guitar), Martin Lindqvist (saxophone), Roland Ask (guitar), Peter Mjörnestrand (bass), Robert Muhrer (drums), and Mats Grönberg (keyboards). Bengt Hennings was selected to appear on the first season of the television reality show Dansbandskampen in 2008. The band also appeared in the documentary film Får Jag Lov - Till den Sista Dansen? in 2008. In the wake of their appearance on Dansbandskampen, Bengt Hennings hit the Top Ten of the Swedish albums chart with their album Låt Kärleken Slå Till (2009). Previous albums by the band include Alla Dessa Underbara År (2003) and Bäst Av Allt (2007). ~ Jason Birchmeier
