At Christmas Dad played The Ink Spots( I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire),Fats Waller (Honey Hush) and sang with mum. I was about 7 Years old. First song i learnt to play was "Field Of Opportunity" by Neil Young. i was hooked on music from then. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jeff Lynne, Armchair Theatre Loudon Wainwright III, Essential Recordings: Loudon Wainwright III - One Man Guy The Beatles, Rubber Soul Jeff Lynne is a master of melody. This Album is a Must. Rubber Soul is an album with 14 Singles. It's a great example of how masterful they are at song writing. I Love a well thought out song lyric and Loudon does it so often. A great song writer. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Day Will Come” I wrote this as a "Michael Buble" or "Temptations" type song. I wanted to evoke the style of music from the 1950's that i love so much. Im happy with the arrangement. It's a fun song to sing live. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Rolling Stone Magazine wrote -Barry Michael's new album "The First Time, His compositions give ample evidence of a major songwriter in the making. “Not Think Of You” is a slow painful blues worthy of Billie Holiday. That’s saying something”. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like someone to do a cover version of some of my songs. Perhaps Michael Buble or Tom Jones.
