I've always been encouraged to sing and be musical at young ages by my mother, though I never really was surrounded with music as a kid. Orion Sun, A Collection of Fleeting Moments and Daydreams SZA, Ctrl UMI, Love Language - EP A lot of the music I love to listen to usually makes me feel warm. I'm a big fan of artists who create intimate and nostalgic albums, and these three albums gave me a safe space in high school because of the unsafety I felt in a space like that. I made this song in such an unstable place and it helped bring me peace, and helped me focus my energy on creating a song that really expressed how I felt about the disconnecting situation.
