Listening to my mothers old albums through crappy speakers in a shack on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii formed the basis of the beginning of a diverse musical journey. Tell us why you chose this song. “Standing Looking Backwards” This was the first single released after losing 10 years of data in a hard drive melt down. It was one of the last tracks I finished just before it happened and was luckily saved in a place I could rescue it. Nearly everything since then is new. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have many great highlights, from parties in the mountains to working in the studio with Depeche Mode and other highly talented people and an assistant engineer. Most of the best times have been behind the music, not in the public eye. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Artistically, I am always interested in diversifying my sounds, approaches, and collaborations. I am looking forward to constant evolution and discovery of new and interesting forms of expressing through layers of sounds and rhythms.
