About Arkadia Jazz All-Stars

This everchanging, Grammy-nominated jazz collective founded by Arkadia Jazz CEO Bob Karcy drew from the New York label's roster of post-bop talent. Their late '90s series of albums paid tribute to luminaries such as John Coltrane, Gerry Mulligan, Duke Ellington, and Joe Henderson before a run of compilations from 2001 on the label were subsequently re-marketed under the All-Stars name. Although their last sessions together took place at the turn of the century, there was renewed interest in the group in 2021, when key performances from their canon were reissued as digital singles.
