During my upbringing in Trinidad, I was first introduced to music by observing my father’s unique ability to play music by ear, and my uncle’s Parang band. Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill Shaggy, Hot Shot Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life These albums embody good vibes an inspiration required to live life. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rise Up” My favorite song on the EP right now is Rise Up because I don’t think any of the other songs would be released without it. Rise Up anchors my belief in the importance of pursuing your dreams, and maintaining the courage to never give up. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Opening for the legendary Beenie Man, Mr. Vegas and Phyllisia Ross. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, I would love to perform at the Grammys, Caribbean talent to the world!
