Angel Nation is a London-based symphonic metal band led by Finnish-born singer and keyboardist Elina Siirala. Classically trained from a young age, Siirala relocated to London in 2008 to continue her vocal studies, initially forming the band as EnkeliNation (Finnish for Angel Nation) in 2011. The band's early years were spent honing a lush, melodic sound that was equal parts power metal and classical, as Siirala cycled through various lineups and established herself on the London rock scene. Under the EnkeliNation name, they released their debut LP, Tears of Lust, in 2014, making an appearance the Bloodstock festival and touring the U.K. While recording their follow-up release, the decision was made to rebrand using the English translation of band's name. In October 2017, they issued their sophomore LP, Aeon, this time as Angel Nation. ~ Timothy Monger
