In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was young, Nintento came out with a game called Mario Paint Composer. It had musical staves but the notes made with characters from the game, each making a different sound. It wasn't just fun, it filled me with wonder. Hooked on composing! ABBA, ABBA Gold: Greatest Hits 40th Anniversary Edition Various Artists, Newsies (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) When I was young my Mom had a cassette of Abba that she would sometimes listen to in the car. I've heard the Broadway Newsies is great, but I'm still stuck on the original! I even used one of the songs: King of New York for an audition in college. Tell us why you chose this song. “Say I'm Home” I wrote this song about going home at Christmas time while I was away at college. Although I had big dreams, it didn't take away from the tender feeling of returning briefly to a place where you are loved and held in such high esteem.
