In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I think I began really noticing music while playing games like Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger on the SNES. My friends and I would play to certain parts of the game just to hear the music again. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gareth Coker, Ori and the Will of the Wisps (Original Soundtrack Recording) Square Enix Music, FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE (Original Soundtrack) Yasunori Nishiki, OCTOPATH TRAVELER Original Soundtrack Simply put, these albums take me somewhere. Their beautiful melodic arrangements, combined with fantastic live performances and recordings, keep me listening long after I've finished playing the games. They also inspire me to create and learn! Tell us why you chose this song. “Calm Village Theme” I thoroughly enjoy writing music and playing games with this type of melodic emphasis. It's about the way it makes you feel. I played live flutes, guitar and other instruments and the cello is performed by Andrew Dunn. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting to write music on the Cartoon Network/TBS show Final Space with Jake Sidwell! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Writing beautiful, melodic, live music for an amazing story driven RPG game!
