About Analynn Riley
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Age 8—First official performance as vocalist and pianist | Age 15—first harp concert. Singing while playing my Concert-Grand Pedal Harp inspired me to develop a unique breathing/posture methodology, helping singers and instrumentalists alike. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ennio Morricone, 50 Years of Music (92 Original Scores Recorded By Ennio Morricone in Concert) Harry James and His Orchestra, The Complete Recordings 1939 (feat. Frank Sinatra) Various Artists, Sergei Rachmaninoff: The Masterpieces Masters of music and mood, these 3 creators stimulate mind and senses! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Arrow & the Song” One of my original compositions, Arrow & The Song blends Concert Grand Harp with Baritone Saxophone, bass guitar, piano, and voice—not your everyday musical mix! A treasure indeed performing with my daughter on Bari and son on bass. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A chap, just off the rodeo circuit and still dressed in his chaps, attended my concert, and told me afterward, “Next to Willie Nelson, you’re the next best thing!” Most unexpected and treasured comment, underlining the universal reach of music! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As an artist, to have those who are now preschoolers someday singing/playing/performing my tunes!
