In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. MJ: I remember sucking at guitar...and the cymbal. Bass was my first instrument easy enough to bend to my will. SS: My mom is a pianist. My very first musical experience was seeing the movie Amadeus in the theater and crying the whole time. Sorry mom What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Green Day, American Idiot Nine Inch Nails, The Fragile Pink Floyd, The Wall A mixture of both our faves. They are experiential, taking the listener on a journey. All are full length (or double length) albums that have exceptional track diversity and are very expressive. That depth is something that connects to our souls. Tell us why you chose this song. “Over You” A lot of people don't make it to the end of an album anymore, but if you do, rewards await. Clear Blue Sky, Over You, and House of Black + White Live are a trio of emotional pieces that we feel everyone who's ever lost someone can deeply relate to. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Finishing our first album was something we didn't know if we'd do. But we did! We delivered a 16-track baby in 2021 and he was adopted by a label (Distortion Productions) in 2022. We are so proud. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We're on the quest to make the perfect album (for us). Also, gigging in Europe would be awesome.
