In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I still remember the first rap I ever wrote! I was 16 years old and it was a story about a car thief named Jack Devac...that may or not have been based on a friend of mine. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ambush Vin, Slasher Musik - EP Big Daddy Kane, Long Live The Kane Tech N9ne, Everready Big Daddy Kane is my all time favorite. He backs up the lyrical cockiness with a rhyme scheme that is still superior after 35 years! I was a fan of Tech N9ne before Everready, but THIS is the one that did it for me. Flames! Tell us why you chose this song. “Alcatraz (Stage Five: Acceptance)” I love this song because I wrote it while I was going through divorce after being married for 10 years. I went through all 5 stages of grief before finally accepting it and learning how to love myself. This was the beginning of my change journey. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I have to say performing internationally in Canada - three times so far! I've met some wonderful, awesome people and even have a fan base there. Shout-Out Winnipeg! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to create a project to raise money for Heart Failure patients and their families. My oldest son is a Heart Transplant survivor, so I know how hard it is to watch your loved one suffer and you can't do anything about it but pray.
