ALYPH

Spitting fresh, slick rhymes over full beats, ALYPH is a cornerstone of contemporary Malay hip-hop. Best known as one-half of SleeQ, which broke up in 2015, the multitalented creative has gone on to contribute to the local scene not only as a rap artist, but also as a songwriter and producer. Incorporating cutting edge sounds from the global hip-hop scene into his cuts, ALYPH takes home-grown inspirations and turns them into refreshing earworms—as heard on his 2019 album DETAIL.
