About Alex Lahey

An Australian singer/songwriter with a sardonic streak and a flair for crafting melodically charged and relatable pop-punk anti-anthems, Melbourne-based Alex Lahey cites a wide array of artists as influences, including the Killers, Paramore, Dolly Parton, and Bruce Springsteen. Her 2016 debut EP, B-Grade University, caught the ears of Aussie radio giant Triple J and Tegan and Sara, the latter of whom brought her on tour with them. The following year saw Lahey ink a deal with Dead Oceans and release her first full-length outing, I Love You Like a Brother. ~ James Christopher Monger
