In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my fave early memories is when i was 7 years old, my mom arranged for me to sing "no one" by alicia keys at jax beach fest. It was in between sets so i sang super quick but there were hundreds of people there. My little heart was happy lol What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Erykah Badu, Baduizm Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly The Internet, Ego Death I know these albums like the back of my hand. Erykah is one of my biggest neo soul inspirations. The internet members & affiliates really shaped/influenced my adolescence. Kendrick is well...Kendrick. They're all just so good and talented. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “La La Land” This song was produced, written and recorded all in a 4-6 hour session. I went in the booth & layed down some random vocals which we ended up building the beat around. The creation of this song was so pure and collaborative. Its really special to me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I once had a show where i started one of my songs & the sound went out. I kept singing it acapella & the rest of the crowd sang it too! Having people in the crowd knowing & loving my music like that was an experience that i dont take for granted. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? YES. SO much. I have people to work with, accolades to gain, awards to win, lives to change, more world to experience, more art to create. Alot to do lol, i'm just getting started.
