Jake Blount, The New Faith John Prine, Bruised Orange Karen & the Sorrows, Guaranteed Broken Heart When I first heard John Prine, I felt like he and I had been communing with the same spirits. Same with Karen. She is an incredible songwriter & mentor to me. I am because she is. Jake pushes the medium in strange & evocative directions. I was sitting beside of this showrunner, Holly Sorensen, & he leapt from out of the darkness onto her lap. He was dressed like a mid-west mystic and when he later grabbed his guitar, I was permanently enamored.
