The sunny, uplifting guitar rock of Los Bitchos and the gritty garage rock of Night Beats may not seem to have much in common on the surface, but Los Bitchos' former guitarist Carolina Faruolo and the latter's mainstay Danny Lee Blackwell discovered enough common ground to form the psychedelic duo Abraxas. Their debut album, 2022's Monte Carlo, blended sounds and styles from around the world into a reverb-heavy, softly trippy delight.
