In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Once when I was four, my mother was forcing me to practice the piano, and while defiantly yanking the pencil off of my sheet music, I accidentally shoved a pencil up her nose. She has yet to let it go. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Amy Winehouse, Frank Ethel Cain, Preacher’s Daughter The Zolas, Ancient Mars All three of them combine narrative storytelling and vulnerable, confessional lyrics in different ways. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I really want to play a festival in Bosnia. Once I do that I will retire happily.
