In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Red Hot Chili Peppers. Dancing around the kitchen listening to Scar Tissue with my uncle. Listening to By The Way with my mum in the summer time and my sister constantly singing the 'lay oh lay oh lay oh lay oh' refrain from the song, Dosed. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Gang of Youths, angel in realtime. Muse, Black Holes and Revelations Red Hot Chili Peppers, By the Way By the Way is growing up and spending time with family. BHAR is bonding with my brother and my friends as a teenager and inspiring me to pick up a guitar. Angel in realtime had a deeply profound effect on me. Particularly the song, You in Everything. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Bring Me a Little Love” This is the first song that we released. We worked hard to ensure it would be a strong single. Now the song is out in the open it has forced me to confront a lot of the feelings that are conveyed by the lyrics. Uncomfortable, but good for growth. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being added to Apple Music's New in Rock playlist. It has given us self belief and added confidence as we continue to write and release our music. We must be doing something right if editors at Apple are fans of our Music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We are just getting started. It would be great to have just 1 person think of any of our songs as a favourite of theirs. To make music and to connect with people by tapping in to a shared feeling or struggle would feel like a big achievement.
