An unashamedly loud and proud hard rock band with a strong AC/DC influence, Spanish rockers '77 -- named for a year when they felt rock & roll was in especially great shape -- were formed in 2005 by brothers Armand and LG Valeta. After releasing an EP in late 2007, '77 began making their name as a live act in Europe, and in 2009, they released their self-produced and self-financed debut album, 21st Century Rock. In 2011, the band dropped their second album, High Decibels, followed by 2013's Maximum Rock 'n' Roll. In March 2015, '77 signed a record deal with Century Media Records, and in late 2015 released Nothing's Gonna Stop Us. ~ Mark Deming
