In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I idolized 50 Cent as a young kid. My grandma took me to see 'Get Rich or Die Tryin': The Movie, which was the first album I ever bought. Shortly after, she bought me my first DAW and microphone. I owe everything to my grandmother believing in me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin Drake, Nothing Was the Same (Deluxe) Kanye West, The College Dropout Each of these came at different times of my life, but each played a pivotal role in my development. From not being afraid to express myself, to my love for samples in my production, to expressing myself in vulnerable moments. Tell us why you chose this song. “Close Snakes” I was able to travel and make a living off of music after the connections I made with this single. The engagement I received at this time is what ultimately linked me up with other rising artists like MBNel, $tupid Young, etc. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My very first show ever was a sold-out event in San Diego, California. I headlined it with MBNel, and we brought out many artists, including hometown native Heartbreaka, and more. We donated all proceeds to the Jai Lao Foundation. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I got verified in 2018, and then hacked at 60k. This completely derailed my career as that was my main form of promotion. I'm hoping to regain a following and have an audience to showcase my music to again one day.
