Alexandra Papastefanou

Pianist Alexandra Papastefanou has specialized since her student years in the music of J.S. Bach. She is also a musicologist and music theorist who released an edition of Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier, praised by one of her teachers, Alfred Brendel. Papastefanou's repertory also includes Schumann, contemporary music, and works by Greek composers. In 2025, she released the album J.S. Bach: The English Suites on the First Hand Records label.
