In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my dad singing In My Life by the Beatles to me as I was going to sleep. I have kids of my own now, and it’s the song I sing to them before bed. My 11 year old told me recently he’s planning to do the same for his kids in the future. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bonnie "Prince" Billy, I See a Darkness The Beatles, Abbey Road (Remastered) I discovered my love of music when I was young through listening to the Beatles. Bonnie Prince Billy brought me into indie music and Bill Fay’s career made me realize it was never too late to release your own music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Margrét” It’s a song I wrote about my wife. After 13 years together we’ve been through a lot of ups and downs but I love the small moments we have together, walking around and holding hands. Watching her dress in the breeze still fills me with butterflies. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I didn’t perform on stage for almost twenty years, I was afraid and shy. My first show after that long hiatus was opening up Iceland Airwaves, my absolute favorite festival. It was terrifying and exciting and all other emotions all wrapped in one. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many things! I love making new music and I especially love working with other artists, collaborating with someone that suddenly brings something unexpected into a situation. Each of those moments is magic and I’m constantly chasing that feeling..
