Time Moves On

Time Moves On

The Norman, Okla.–bred, Los Angeles–based singer/songwriter/pianist Maggie McClure has spent most of her career placing her songs on TV shows such as Dr. Phil, The Real World, The Hills, and The Young and the Restless, as well as in the film Cowgirls N’ Angels. Her smooth, confessional songwriting has made her a natural for these formats. She’s also performed more than 750 shows throughout the U.S. and continues to be thoroughly independent; she's her own label, booking agent, and manager. Her third album, Time Moves On—produced by Justin Glasco, whose work includes Dan Wilson, Gary Jules, and The Cary Brothers—chronicles her move from Oklahoma to L.A. and centers on the mental and physical bravery it takes to push yourself in an unknown city and make people pay attention and convince them to be part of your dream. Songs such as “Reset,” “Closer Than Before," and the title track come together as professional pop songs that are both catchy and literate.
