After several years in the service of Raúl Porchetto and then Charly García; Pablo Guyot, Willy Iturri and Alfredo Toth decided to take a step forward with Git. The trio recorded their first album in Ibiza in just eight days in 1984, and were produced by García himself. It includes such interesting pop-rock discharges as “Acaba De Nacer” and “La Calle Es Su Lugar”. They soon earned comparisons to British band The Police, and became one of the most popular groups in Argentina alongside Soda Stereo, Virus and Miguel Mateos & ZAS.
