Yes, this fourth album is notable for Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory’s move from disco to rurally-minded folk—typified by the campfire atmospherics of “Little Bird”—but it also leaves room for abundant electropop pyrotechnics. “A&E” is a festival-sized torch song, and the triumphant, kicky swing of “Happiness” totally brings the country house down.
