Rastar

Rastar

Rastar is the debut album from Toronto rapper Yung Tory, who turned heads with the mischievous single “Netflix & Chill” and his Free Dope mixtapes. Tory flips between heavy-lidded flexing and expressive singing, depending on his mood. “Yung Tory - Rastar” and “Fucc Around” owe to his Caribbean roots, revealing a singjay underneath his tough exterior. Fetty Wap contributes to the melodic mood on “In My Bag.” The catchy hit “Netflix & Chill” is here, with Shoreline Mafia’s Fenix Flexin adding sinister imagery. If you want to know about Yung Tory's baller lifestyle, “Stupid Drip” collects the irritations that come with fame (“I’m tired of the Uber, where the ’Rari at?”), while “Itsy Bitsy Thotty” is a NSFW play on the nursery rhyme—just know it isn’t a spider chasing the drip.
