Perdidos De Sinaloa honed their lushly orchestrated banda style during a long apprenticeship in Mexico's bars and clubs. Even in their early days, however, the exquisitely tender singing of Dariel Ramirez elevated the struggling Tijuana ensemble above the never-ending crop of new groups fronted by indistinguishable romantic crooners. Ramirez continues to effortlessly break hearts on Mas Perdidos Que Nunca, bringing the sugary hooks of lovestruck Latin pop to folk ballads like "Por el Amor de una Mujer" but also stunning with eruptions of soul-deep longing like "Solo por Ego."
