In a way, the Celtic Thunder crew has been working up to this since its 2007 inception. This 2015 live recording features fan favorites from across the Irish ensemble’s repertoire, displaying a broad range that takes them from Irish trad folk to modern pop. With multiple lead singers, they can conjure up almost any mood, as evidenced by the lusty abandon of the Steve Earle-penned “Galway Girl,” the fateful misadventure of the traditional “Black Velvet Band,” or the Celtic-flavored piece of masterfully delivered mainstream pop “Noreen.”
