Still floating off spring 2019’s inventive Just Say Thank You EP, made even more notable by a consummate Chance the Rapper feature, Supa Bwe seizes upon his expanding public profile with this potent, largely self-produced follow-up. “LOOK” opens with narcotized bars and quickly escalates into the aggressive declarations of a self-made man. Yet Jaguar isn’t all gnashing teeth and bloodshot eyes, as evidenced by the comparatively quiet opener “Hawaii” and the title track, which was inspired by a particularly intense psychedelic experience.
