Radio - AM/FM

Best known for his work with Blu, Exile is a much-revered producer who has risen from indie obscurity (his early days with Emanon) through Internet celebrity (the breakthrough Below the Heavens), and into established beat maestro territory, laying tracks for heavy hitters like Snoop, Mobb Deep, and Ghostface. AM/FM is the follow-up/remake of his acclaimed instrumental Radio album, featuring a diverse collection of exclusive remixes and brand-new vocal versions set to his rock-solid production. With a line-up that includes Grouch & Eligh ("Population Control"), Evidence and Alchemist ("It's Coming Down"), Aloe Blacc ("So We Can Move"), and Blu ("Love Line"), any fan of West Coast underground hip-hop should be right at home here. The remixed instrumentals run the gamut from totally tweaked out to smooth and jazzy, while the mysterious Clutchy Hopkins ends the album on a great note with the babytalk-rocking "In Love."
