That unlikely combination pays off handsomely as these tracks unspool over up to 10 minutes at a time. The guitars are alternately chiming, rootsy, and acid-fried, achieving a fevered sprawl on “Oriar” and evoking Sonic Youth’s splintered poppiness on “Faro”.
