After gaining a major following from their energetic live shows and punk-influenced songs, the Brooklyn twosome grow up a little on their second album. The songs here are grittier and rawer, reflecting the weariness of a long night out that hasn’t quite come to an end. They flesh out their keyboard- and drum-driven melodies with orchestral and synth touches, making standout tracks like “Daylight” and “Don’t Slow Down” totally infectious, dance-pop gold.
