Colourblind

In 1997, Colourblind were one of the torchbearers for an emerging Indian rock circuit. Vocalist, keyboardist and producer Ram Sampath and bassist/guitarist Siddharth Achrekar crafted a boisterous and introspective album that still commands attention. The electro-rock energy of “Blast”, Achrekar’s bass slaps on “Bang a Drum” and the powerhouse title track mark a surging, energetic experience. Other standouts include the grungy hard rock of "Fire Breath", the shimmering “Fragile” and the grandiose Gothic style of “Legit Freak”. The 2020 edition of features two additional tracks, “Unnamed” with Taufiq Qureshi and “Fragile 2020”.
