What hasn’t changed for these stalwart singer/songwriters is the plainspoken, Bible-rooted message of their music. Rousing electronica-tinged tracks like “What Hope Feels Like,” “If Not for Grace,” and “Let It Be Known” set off the group’s signature vocal harmonies. The countrified “Voices from the Other Side” (written for Dean’s late father) and the stirring modern hymn “Jesus, Only Jesus” recall the kind of devotional ballads that first earned PC&D acclaim in the '90s.
