Known for his work with composing maestro A. R. Rahman, Chennai guitarist Sanjeev Thomas is no stranger to cinematic songwriting. For the Manoharam soundtrack, he brings his experience and talent as an indie artist to the mix. “Kinavo” is groovy and almost Latin-inflected, while he adds his vocals and electronic hues to the funky guitars of “Munnotithaa”. In addition to folksy love song "Thaaro", the soundtrack is elevated by Sid Sriram's distinctively soulful vocals on the sculpted rock number “Akale”.
