Top Songs of 2025: Australia

Apple Music

Apple Music’s end-of-year charts are based on plays between 1 November 2024 and 31 October 2025. It might have been written about a drinking game, but “APT.”—the killer collab from Aotearoa New Zealand-born, Australia-raised star ROSÉ and Bruno Mars—travelled well beyond its late-night inspirations, becoming the most-streamed song in Australia throughout 2025. (And no, we’re not sorry that mentioning it has just landed that super-catchy chorus right back in your head!) The BLACKPINK singer and solo artist was far from the only K-pop name to make a mark on the year: Seven tracks from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, including songs by HUNTR/X and Saja Boys, charted high this year. Pop stayed on top with tracks by Gracie Abrams, Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan, Lola Young, Sabrina Carpenter and Billie Eilish all reaching the top 20. But we didn’t shy away from country and hip-hop, with names such as Kendrick Lamar, Shaboozey and Post Malone filling plenty of top spots. Australian artist CYRIL flew the local flag with three tracks appearing throughout the playlist, while classics by AC/DC, Vance Joy and Gotye made repeat appearances on home turf, proving that we just can’t—and shouldn’t—get enough of a good thing.
