About Eve Owen

Subtle electronics, effects, and field recordings fortify the brooding, amber-tinted indie folk of Eve Owen. Her 2020 debut album, Don't Let the Ink Dry, was produced by the National's Aaron Dessner. A singer and songwriter from London, England, Owen spent three summer holidays during her teens at Long Pond Studio in the Hudson Valley writing and recording tracks with Dessner for her first album. The sessions also included contributions from multi-instrumentalist Rob Moose (Bon Iver, Paul Simon) and keyboardist Thomas Bartlett (Doveman). During that time span, she performed live with the National, including an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and sang on the band's 2019 long-player I Am Easy to Find. Owen turned 20 before Don't Let the Ink Dry arrived on 37d03d Records in May of 2020. ~ Marcy Donelson
