Far from settling for aural background music, Brian Leeds aka Huerco S. incorporates a wide range of rhythms and textures into abstract, amorphous soundscapes. Rumbling house rhythms lurk underneath the likes of “Rushing To Paradise” and “Got Me Ina Trance”, while “Elma (Ruff Rub)” and “A2 Untitled” make nods to drum ’n’ bass and breakbeat. His trademark production is dreamy yet evocative on “A Sea of Love” and “Promises of Fertility”, bringing cinematic focus to diffuse melodics.
