Taiwanese singer/songwriter Europa Huang has gone from skeletal folk to buzzing electro-pop over the years, but the emotion that defined his early work has always remained at its core. Huang's career began in the mid -‘00s with unassuming folk songs that feature little more than acoustic guitar strums and light, intimate vocals. His arrangements have become increasingly layered, incorporating dramatic violin and piano, yet even Huang's more recent synth-powered experiments transmit the heartfelt sincerity for which he is known.
